Each part of the job has its own module, and they all share the same clients, vehicles and parts.

    Clients and vehicles

    Keep private clients and businesses in one register. A vehicle can belong to several clients and a client can have several vehicles.

    Check-ins and work orders

    Check a vehicle in, then turn it into a work order with parts and labour. Print a job card filled in with the client and vehicle details, or a blank one to complete by hand.

    Quotes and invoices

    Quotes and invoices are generated as PDFs, with VAT calculated and payments tracked. The monthly sales book is exported in the tax administration’s format.

    Parts

    When you add a part to a job, MechanX shows the price that client last paid for it and fills in the part number, name and suggested quantity in one click.

    Employees

    Manage employees and their monthly salaries, assign job cards to them, and split invoice items between the people who did the work.

Everything done to a vehicle is kept on one timeline, so the next visit starts with the full picture.

  • Odometer reading recorded at each service

  • A database for each workshop

    Every workshop gets its own isolated database and its own domain. No workshop’s data sits in the same tables as another’s.

  • Only the modules you need

    A workshop subscribes to the modules it uses. Pricing follows the modules and subscriptions renew automatically.

  • Roles and an audit trail

    Each user sees and changes only what their role allows, and every change is recorded in the audit log with who made it and when.

  • Nothing to install

    MechanX runs in the browser, on the office computer and on a phone or tablet in the workshop.

Can we bring our existing data?
Yes. Tell us what you use today and we will import your clients and vehicles as part of the setup.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. MechanX is a web application that adapts to the screen, so it works on iOS and Android phones without installing anything.
Where is our data kept?
In a database that belongs to your workshop alone, separate from every other workshop on the platform. Access is controlled by roles and permissions.
How is it priced?
MechanX is a subscription, priced by the modules you use. Get in touch and we will put together a quote for your workshop.
Which languages does it support?
